In the beginning...

...there was an empty page, completely devoid of content. And then someone, or something, decided to fill it up.

Who...or what...that someone...or something...is...or was...has been a matter of some contention since the beginning of recorded time.

Some folks think there was a BIG BANG moment! Others think there was a BIG GOD moment!

Whatever you believe about the beginning, each of us is busy, right now, filling the pages of our lives with content: Words, thoughts, and deeds. No matter how insignificant we think we are, the world has been indelibly effected by our being here. We don't just MAKE a difference. We ARE the difference!

Like the butterfly in the bamboo forests of Asia, whose tiny, fluttering wings are somehow, mysteriously connected to a hurricane coming ashore in Louisiana, USA, everything is connected. You and I are connected. In some miraculous, mind-boggling, singular way we are important to each other. In other words, WE MATTER!

One way in which I hope to connect with you, and everyone else I meet for that matter, is through the stories I tell. Hopes, dreams, triumphs,...despairs, fears, failures...it's all grist for the mill. It's the human condition. It's the spark of the divine that animates us. It's my story. It's your story.
